Marie’s Cream of Mushroom Soup

As seen on NBC's “Rebecca’s Garden Show” (Serves 4)

Ingredients

• 1 lb. Mushrooms sliced

• 3 tbsp. butter

• 1 cup yellow onion diced

• 1 cup celery diced

• 3/4 cup flour

• 1 teaspoon Marjoram fresh

• 6 cups vegetable stock

• 3/4 cup heavy cream

• Salt and pepper to taste

• Parsley

Method

• Clean mushrooms with paper towel and slice

• Sauté onions and celery in bu er

• Add mushrooms cook 5 minutes

• Add flour and stir

• Add vegetable stock

• Cook on low for 20 minutes

• Add cream, don’t boil

• Garnish with parsley
